This was my scrapbooking weekend. It had been planned since the last one, back in October. I took Friday off from school. We were able to check in starting at 3 pm, and could start working on our albums at 4 pm. I left the house about 2:50 pm. I was only going about an hour away. I got off the exit fine, turned right, sitting at the light, when I was given the arrow to turn left, nothing, and I mean nothing. My car wouldn't move.
About 30 minutes later, or so, a police officer pushed my car, with his, out of the intersection. I wanted to go left, but he turned me right. Another police officer stopped traffic, so I could be pushed off the road. While that was going on, I was on the phone with AAA to have my car towed home. I was told up to an hour an half of a wait. The tow truck guy was there within 15 minutes. I called my friend, and she sent somebody from the hotel, (about 1/2 mile away) to come and get me and my stuff. My car was towed to a shop in Norton, and I stayed put in Mayfield Heights. I completed my two books and somebody from there brought me home.
I had to get my transmission rebuilt and they did a few other repairs also. The first police officer who stopped to see about helping me, had chew in his bottom lip, you could see the bulge. The tow truck guy had dropping pants.
My thoughts on life in remission for skin cancer and teaching full-time, or just life in general.

Sleep
I am currently tired! Only 5 more injections! In the past few months, when I wake up in the middle of the night, a lot of nights, I have a hard time getting back to sleep. I have that problem from my dad. You wake up for the RR, and for whatever reason you have something on your mind. You start thinking, and that will keep you awake for awhile. I am in bed between 7 1/2-9 hours a night. I go to bed tired and wake up tired. I am just not getting enough sleep at night. I have had this problem for years, but would not effect me very often, but it is getting more and more frequent.
It doesn't help that I am up 2-4 times a night. I spend about 95% of the night, laying on my back with my right leg elevated. Laying on my back, makes me wake up a lot at night. Every time I wake up, I basically will roll over and hit play on my cd player, so I can play my Praise and Worship cd. The cd lasts about 80 minutes, and it plays a few time through every night.
I have worked 12 days this month. I worked 3 1/2 days last week, and so far only one day this week.
This past Saturday night, I did a small scrapbook in about 2 hours. It is a Picfolio and holds 24 pics. I did it of my birthday, back in July. I'm thinking of doing another one from next month's party. Hopefully, I'll take a lot of pics that night, so that I can make one.

Precious Gift
This morning, in Sunday School, I received the most precious gift. (Nothing compares to my gift of Salvation, but what I received today, I will cherish it.) I was surprised by the gift. I received a scrapbook of love, encouragement, and friendship. It was made for me. This is the first time, that somebody made a scrapbook for me. I am the scrapbooker. Pictures of people throughout the book. Verses people chose to share with me. Little notes that they wrote to me. Stickers used throughout the pages. They put a lot of thought into it. God knew I needed these people in my life. I have made some new friends in the past year. I am thankful for them. I am very touched by their thoughtful gift. I absolutely love my scrapbook.

Hertiage Album
July of 2006, Grandma and I went through some boxes of pictures of hers. She gave me a bunch. I decided to make a Heritage album. Grandma and I went through them, she told me names of people in the pics. My mom gave me a few this evening as well.
Last Saturday, I spent the afternoon scrapbooking. I bought a ruby coverset, natural pages, and page protectors. I did sixteen front and back pages last week. Today, I did nine more pages. There are twenty-five pages in my book. All I need is some more page protectors for the pages without one.
I have a pic of my great-great grandparents (my grandmother's grandparents), over a 100 years old. A picture of my great-grandmother, Grandma's mom. A small number of pics of my grandma and her siblings growing up. Some pics from when my mom and uncle grew up. I saw pics of my aunt and uncle I have never met. A few of my cousins, though not all of them. The last part is from my family. I can't forget to mention, pics of my grandparents from over the years, and even their house.
It was fun to do, first time I scrapbooked in 1 1/2 years.
I have more albums to work on, and will get them finished.
